Sketching from photos

I've really enjoyed doing some line and wash sketches over the last few days. Its both relaxing and absorbing to do these and while I'm working on them I find myself going back in my mind to the places where I took the photos (not the first on which I grabbed from a magazine).

Here they are:

Cotswold cottages

Greenwich from the River Thames

Victorian house in Hither Green

Pavillion Café, Greenwich Park
And here's where I've been working:

Mostly Winsor and Newton "Professional" paints, which I have learned to love and understand over the last 15 years of painting.
